PNM Assistance Fair on Saturday, Aug. 9

(ALBUQUERQUE, N.M.) − The PNM Good Neighbor Fund will host an assistance fair in Silver City on Saturday, Aug. 9, from 9 to 11:30 a.m.

The assistance fair is open to all PNM customers. Income-qualified residents can receive:
· Assistance with a past due PNM electric bill
· A free PNM Home Energy Checkup, including additional rebates

The PNM Home Energy Checkup includes a free and installed programmable thermostat, energy-saving light bulbs, a low-flow showerhead, and in some cases a free refrigerator. Participants will also receive a walk-through assessment of the home which will help customers cut their electric bills and identify ways to save.

To apply for assistance, please bring:
· Your PNM Bill (applicant name and account holder must be the same),
· Identification for all adults in the household,
· Proof of all household income,
· Identification for all children in the home (birth certificates, shot records, etc.),
· Proof of LIHEAP application.
