SCAS "Children in the Universe" Presentation - Feb. 9

Free and Open to the Public

The Silver City Astronomical Society, in partnership with Literacy Link, will present a children’s program, “Children in the Universe,” on Saturday, February 9, during the Mimbres Regional Arts Council’s Chocolate Fantasia, “The Milky Way,” at 11:00 am at the Public Library.

SCAS members will talk with children about their role in the Universe and kids of all ages will have an opportunity to craft a 3-D moving finger-scaled model of the Night Skies that include seasonal constellations.  The program is free to the public.  For more information, contact Kathy at This email address is being protected from spambots.
