Free and Open to the Public

The Silver City Astronomical Society, in partnership with Literacy Link, will present a children’s program, “Children in the Universe,” on Saturday, February 9, during the Mimbres Regional Arts Council’s Chocolate Fantasia, “The Milky Way,” at 11:00 am at the Public Library.

SCAS members will talk with children about their role in the Universe and kids of all ages will have an opportunity to craft a 3-D moving finger-scaled model of the Night Skies that include seasonal constellations.  The program is free to the public.  For more information, contact Kathy at silvercityofstars@gmail.com.
