Gospel Mission Urgently Needs Help Distributing Excess Food

We had a large, much welcome donation of meat from WalMart yesterday. Most of it we were able to put into cold storage, but we still have some left over that we need to hand out soon.

We have about four hundred pounds of pork chitterlings, chicken liver, gizzards, hearts and tripe that we need to hand out or find a freezer home for before the weekend.  If you are hungry or know someone who is, please drop by and take some.  We will be able to give out quite a few in the soup kitchen and food baskets, but not as many as I need to move quickly.

Here are some links to some recipes that you can use.

Please contact Randy Salars at  This email address is being protected from spambots. You need JavaScript enabled to view it.  if you would like to help or have any ideas or suggestions.

Our freezer space is currently maxed out and we will cook and hand out all we can, but we will still have a ton of it if you want some.
