NM-90/Hudson Street Bridge

Hudson Bridge

WH0:
The New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) is in the development stages for replacing the NM-90 Hudson Street Bridge in Silver City. The project will consist of removing the existing bridge, and constructing a new bridge over the San Vicente Arroyo. The new proposed design will have a wider bridge access in order to include sidewalks and a bike lane(s). Additional features will include an upgrade on lighting and signs. Environment, geotechnical, and utility investigations will be conducted for this project.

WHAT:
The NMDOT will have staff from District One and South Region Design available to share information and discuss options for traffic control on how detours will be placed in order to provide a safe environment. The public will have an opportunity to view suggested temporary detours that will route motorists west of NM-90 during construction. The NMDOT welcomes residents, businesses and all school Administrators to come and view the project outline.
