This Valentine's Day, Pick Your Newest Family Member

Leo-Vday

There are all sorts of sweet sayings that sum up people’s feelings about dogs. Samuel Butler, a poet about a hundred and fifty years ago said that the great pleasure of having a dog is that you can make a fool of yourself with him and not only will he not scold you, he’ll make a fool of himself too. And this is true. Dogs will do that with you. And for you.

There is Ann Landers, who advised that we shouldn't take our dog’s admiration as conclusive proof that we are wonderful, which suggests that when one has a dog, that dog tends to think that his person is the greatest human to ever walk on this planet. And this is most definitely true: your dog will follow you around, wagging his tail and making you feel like you rock like nobody has rocked since Mick Jagger was twenty-five years old.

So, if you want to be loved unconditionally and forever, be greeted every day when you come home as if you had been gone for a century instead of a few hours; if you want a loyal companion that will keep you company even when you don’t want to keep your own, and if you want someone around who will bring out the very best in you, maybe you should call Puppy Dog Ranch Rescue and see about finding your FURever furry Valentine. There are more than 25 dogs just waiting to wag their tails and show you unconditional love, proving to you that a dog really can be man’s (and woman's) best friend!

For more information on adopting your FURever Valentine, call Laurie West at (575) 313-7232.
