Female in the lobby needs to be removed/is not causing issues/is walking around the second floor/negative on a CTW. Officer advised female in unit requesting to go to Lulu/Harmony Allen has a CTW for Lulu/requesting GCSO/female is requesting a ride to Arenas Valley.
Unattended death

95-year-old female unresponsive/faint pulse/cold to the touch/cannot see her breathing/had been feeling sick through the day. EMS1 advised facility is advising to send OMI/it is an assisted living facility not a nursing home so they do not contact OMI/LE usually responds. EMS1 requests OMI.

Heidi Ogas, long time resident of Silver City will discuss what was a "New Beginning" for her by sharing one of her father's sermons, "Speaking the Unspeakable: A Talk About GOD"
Unitarian Universalist Rev. Joseph S. Willis was a preacher, pastor, painter, and poet. In this sermon he discusses the word God and how that word may have different meanings to different people but also how the word God is not actually God. Ogas will share her fahter's thoughts on our human concept of what God is and isn't.
Childcare is available on second and fourth Sundays. Parents are invited to bring children 3-12 years old to play and participate in activities led by 10th grader Ivy Stephens-Etheridge.
Give Grandly! Give Local! Save The Date May 4, 2024

Every spring the Give Grandly Coalition, with major support from the Grant County Community Foundation, organizes Give Grandly, its big fundraising marathon for area nonprofits. The first planning meeting will be held at The Commons on 501 E 13th Street at 10:00 am on Wednesday, January 10, 2024.
Area nonprofits that wish to participate in the event this year are encouraged to email the Give Grandly Coalition at givegrandlycoalition@gmail.com or the Grant County Community Foundation at grantcountycommunityfoundation@gmail.com .
Traffic Alert NM 26 Bridge Rehabilitation to begin

HATCH - The New Mexico Department of Transportation District One office in cooperation with La Calerita LLC (Contractor) will begin a bridge rehabilitation project on NM 26 at milepost 47.7 over Interstate 25.
Drivers are asked to reduce speed and please obey traffic control devices and be on the lookout for workers and/or equipment entering and exiting the roadway. Detour routes may be in use during the project and drivers are also asked to be vigilant and follow the proper signage. The contractor’s daytime hours of operation will be from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m., Monday through Friday.

Male acting goofy/swinging his arms and talking to himself/not aggressive. Deputy made contact advising male was in vehicle saying he was going to Lordsburg but drove off toward Silver.
Criminal damage to property

Caller advised a named female broke into his house and there is damage in the house/advised female is a friend of his daughter/she left her dog unattended in the house and house is now damaged with urine and feces/daughter didn't have permission to invite anyone and was a 19-year-old getting brainwashed by a 28-year-old.
