Thurman Lee Barnes, 79, a resident of Silver City NM, entered eternal peace Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at Gila Regional Medical Center in Silver City NM.

He was born in Minter, TX to Ira Barnes and Georgia Barnes. He was an Amazing Husband, Father, Grandfather, Great Grandfather, Friend, hard worker, and an all around Amazing man. He will truly be missed by all who knew him. He is now in eternal peace with his wife Georgia Wilcox Barnes, daughter, Mitzie Lee Guerra and 2nd wife Gloria Terrazas Barnes and his parents.

He is survived by Charlotte Rose Roybal and husband Dustin Roybal and his great grand children Avery Blaze and Zoey Penelope. Also by his step children, Bobbie Terrazas, Ramon Terrazas, Marisa Cunningham, Melinda Terrazas and their families.

Funeral services will take place Friday, March 14 at 11:30 am at Terrazas Funeral Chapels.  Concluding service interment will follow at Memory Lane Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Ramon Terrazas, Dustin Roybal, John B. McGee, Orlando Guerra, Skip Hayes and John Callahan.
