Porfiria Andazola, 80, a resident of Silver City, NM entered eternal rest Sunday, March 9, 2014 at her residence surrounded by her family.  She was born September 28, 1933 in Gila, NM to Apolonio and Antonia Trujillo Gonzalez.  

She is survived by one son, Miguel “Mike” Andazola Jr. of Chino, CA; three daughters, Sally Garcia of Albuquerque; Patsy Carrasco and husband Abel of Silver City; Elsie Andazola of Silver City; ten grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; one brother, Apolonio Gonzalez and wife Lydia of Mesa, AZ; one sister, Carolina Chavez of Azuza, CA.  

She was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, Miguel Andazola (2011).  

Visitation will be Sunday, March 16 from 5-6pm with the prayer vigil and holy rosary to begin at 6pm at Terrazas Funeral Chapels with Deacon Bill Holguin reciting.  The funeral liturgy will be celebrated Monday, March 17 at 10am at St. Vincent de Paul Catholic Church with Father Rod Nichols officiating.  Concluding service interment will follow at St. Vincent Catholic Cemetery.  Pallbearers will be Timothy and Miguel III Andazola, Marty Garcia Jr., Fabian Garcia, Alex and Ray Leyba.  Honorary pallbearers will be her grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
