Benjamin G. Sepulveda, 67, a resident of Silver City, NM entered eternal rest Saturday, March 22, 2014 at Fort Bayard Medical Center.  

He was born November 1, 1946 in Tucson, AZ to Luis C. Sepulveda and Rita Garcia Sepulveda.  He served his country in the Marine Corp and retired after 23 years.  He was a member of the Marine League, American Legion, Vietnam Veterans, VFW and Moose Lodge.  He was an avid baseball player.  He loved the game.  He won many medals from the Senior Olympics.  His favorite teams were the LA Dodgers and Rams. He was a very sport minded person.

He is survived by his partner, Elida Gonzales of the family home; one daughter, Satana Sepulveda and partner Russell Wycoff of Chandler, AZ; three grandchildren, Rance, Edward and Soleana Sepulveda-Wycoff; two brothers, Rudy Sepulveda and wife Frances of Tucson, AZ; Gilbert Sepulveda and wife Frances of Tucson, AZ; three sisters, Estella Jacobs of Phoenix, AZ; Deloris Dodds and husband Jim of Phoenix, AZ; Mercy Quiroz and husband Gilbert of Phoenix, AZ.  

He was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Walter and William Sepulveda.  

A memorial service will take place in Tucson, AZ at a later date.  In lieu of flowers family requests donations be made to the Salvation Army.  Cremation will take place at Terrazas Crematory.
