Loretta Lynn Woodrum Carroll, 44, of Deming, passed away in Oklahoma City on Tuesday March 25, 2014.

Funeral services will be this Thursday April 3, 2014 at 10 o'clock in the morning at the First Baptist Church with Rev. Joe Byers, Pastor officiating. Cremation will follow, and inurnment will take place at a later date.

Loretta was born July 5, 1969 to Ralph and Dianna Woodrum. Ralph was active duty military at a young age. She spent her childhood and high school years in Oklahoma City. Loretta enjoyed spending time with family, watching movies and her favorite television shows. Loretta also loved the Oklahoma Sooners "Boomer Sooner" and she made sure everyone knew as well. She loved her home and most of all Loretta loved her husband and children and had many memories of her taking them out and always watching movies. Her family has many memories of her that will be with them forever in their hearts. Loretta was very funny, some can say a comedian, and her beautiful laugh was contagious. When she began laughing, one could not help but join her. Loretta was a wonderful wife, mother and friend and she will be deeply missed by all who knew her.

She is survived by her longtime love, James M. Carroll; 4 children, Andrew Ramey of Oklahoma City, Marc Stowers of Oklahoma City, Celina Torres and her husband Spencer of Deming, James Carroll Jr. of Deming; 2 grandchildren, Eli J. Torres of Deming and Jaxson Stowers of Oklahoma City; siblings, Robert Michael Woodrum of Moore, OK, David Wayne Woodrum of Oklahoma City, Tiffany Michelle Chavez and husband Jason of Norman, OK, Tonya Renee Williams and husband Wayne of Virginia Beach, VA, and Stephen Patrick Woodrum Jr. of Oklahoma City; nieces and nephews, James Fetrow and wife Candi, Ashley Fetrow and fiancé Andrew Decker, Krystal DuBois and husband Anthony, Armando Perales III, Michael, Shawn, Sarah, Zac, Brendon, Tomas, Jayden, Tre, Tavion and Aubrianna. Great nieces and nephews are Cheyenne, Kara, Ty, Logan, Joaquin, Kobe, Emani; 2 sister in laws, Evelyn Perales and fiancé Fernando, Mary Ann and husband James Fetrow; mother in law Sally Carroll and companion Ramon Baca.
