Beloved, father, husband, grandfather, uncle and friend, Steven Anthony Krol, 63, of Deming passed away on Sunday, March 30, surrounded by his loving family he passed peacefully.

Steve was born on October 17, 1950 in Chicago, IL to Edward and Victoria Krol. The Krol family moved to Deming in 1963. In his younger days, he and his father Ed used to love to rock hunt. He invited all his friends to participate in enduros to Cooke's Peak. Steve was a graduate of Deming High School class of 1969. Steve and Richard worked side by side in the construction business with their father, Ed for 30 years. Brick by brick he built Florida apartments along with many other projects. Steve loved to tell stories and laugh. He was always in pursuit of a good deal and could be found at the swap meet or cruising for yard sales. Steve married Christina in 1974 and had four children. Steve was an amazing father, beloved husband, hard worker and thrived at being a grandfather. His pride was endless in the presence of his grandchildren. His fun loving personality and story telling will be missed. His memory will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him.

He is survived by his wife of 40 years Christina, 3 children, Angela, Mariah & Partner Charles, and Jeffrey & wife Codi. One brother, Richard Krol and wife Helen, nephew Christoper and nieces Laura and Katie, Grandsons, Daran, Charles and Caleb and Granddaughters Crystal, Felecity, Addison, Annabelle, grandsons Daran, Charles.

He is preceded in death by his son Anthony, father Edward mother Vicki.

Services will be held Friday April 4, 2014 at 10 am at Holy Family Catholic Church, and a bereavement lunch will be held at the Hampton.
