Eduardo Muñoz Alvarado, 75, a resident of Bayard, NM entered eternal rest Saturday, April 5, 2014 at his residence. He was born September 22, 1938 in El Paso, TX to Pedro Alvarado and Nicolasa Muñoz. He proudly served his country with the U.S. Army and U. S. Air Force. He is survived by three sons, Edward S. Alvarado Jr. and wife Vicki of Alamogordo, NM; Eduardo Armijo Alvarado III of Silver City; Jerry Alvarado of Winters, TX; twelve grandchildren; thirty-two great-grandchildren; one brother, Lorenzo Alvarado of Los Angeles, CA; three sisters, Olga Martinez of Los Angeles, CA; Siempre Vida Allerid of Los Angeles, CA; Rachael Alexander of Downey, CA; mother of his son, Linda Armijo. He was preceded in death by his parents, one daughter, Norma Kay De Luna; one brother, Pete Alvarado. A Graveside Service will be celebrated Wednesday, April 23 at 2pm at Fort Bayard National Cemetery will full military honors. Cremation has taken place at Terrazas Crematory.
