David Garcia Delgado, born June 17, 1961 in Silver City, NM to Pete and Angie Garcia Delgado passed away September 28, 2007.

A Memorial Service will be celebrated 11:30 a.m. Tuesday, June 17, 2014, at Terrazas Funeral Chapels with Father Roberto Becerra officiating. Concluding service inurnment will follow at Fort Bayard National Cemetery with military honors.

Mr. Delgado was a 13year US Army Veteran and served in Operation Desert Storm. His decorations include Army Commendation Medal with 3 Oak Leaf Clusters; Army Achievement Medal with 5 Oak Leaf Clusters; Good Conduct Medal (fourth award); National Defense Service Medal; NCO Professional Development Ribbon Numeral 2; Army Service Ribbon; Overseas Service Ribbon Numeral 2; Expert Badge, Rifle; Sharpshooter Badge, Grenade; Army Lapel Button; SW Asia Service Medal with 3 Bronze Service Stars and Kuwait Liberation Medal.

Mr. Delgado had worked for the Texas Department of Transportation in Lampasas. He was a member of Holy Family Catholic Church.

He was survived by his high school sweetheart, Teri Valles Delgado; two sons, David Christopher Delgado and wife Lanie and their four children Isaiah, Kinsleigh, Aurora and Ryleigh all of Kempner, TX; Anthony Lawrence Delgado and wife Heather and their children, Evan, Addison, Caden and Aubrey; his mother, Angie of Bayard; two sisters, Betty Rascon and husband Alfred of Hanover; Carol Sedillos of Bayard; three brothers, Robert Delgado and wife Mary of Silver City; Daniel Delgado and wife Socorro; Paul Delgado both of Bayard; father-in-law, Manuel Valles of Albuquerque and several aunts, uncles, nieces nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, mother-in-law, Luisa Valles, brother-in-law, Gene Valles.
