Brenda Kay (Keller) Rasmuson of Silver City was called to her heavenly home on June 10, 2014.

Final arrangements are with Bright Funeral Home. No services are planned at this time. Her cremains will be interred in the Rose Garden at Memory Lane Cemetery.

She was born June 17, 1959, in San Antonio, Texas, to Robert Keller and Sandra Ybarra. She graduated from Silver High School in 1978.

She had been in poor health for several years, but still loved to spend time with her children, who now survive her, Angela Dizazzo (Pat) and Charles Rasmuson (Anne), both of Houston, Texas, six grandchildren, Natalie and Nathan Dizazzo of Houston, Jonathan Vidal, Zachary and Gabriel Rasmuson of Houston, and Dylan Knight of Silver City, a nephew, Michael Ybarra of Fort Lauderdale, Fla., and a brother, Michael Keller of Silver City, New Mexico, and cherished every moment she could spend with them.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Cheryl Phifer; and a grandson, Lucas Rasmuson.

With a child-like heart, she filled the world with great joy. She shall be greatly missed by all of those who came to know and love her.
