Susie H. Rodriguez, 75, a North Hurley resident passed away Monday, June 23, 2014 at El Paso LTAC surrounded by her loving family.

The Holy Rosary will be recited at 9:30 in the morning Friday, June 27, at Infant Jesus Catholic Shrine by Father Roberto Barreto, Pastor. Concluding services and inurnment will follow at Ft. Bayard National Cemetery where she will be laid to rest with her loving husband, Victoriano (Vicky) Rodriguez. Cremation entrusted to Baca's Silver City Crematory.

Susie was born May 24, 1939 in Wilsonburg, Colorado to Pablo and Anselma (Trujillo) Hernandez. Her passion in life was spending time with her loved ones and cooking her specialty green chile with chicken and papas. She enjoyed watching novellas, the Dallas Cowboys play and listening to music. She loved to take care of and admire her rose bushes.

She is survived by her children Mary Ann (Nana) Ramos, Gilbert (Boyce) and wife Irene, Ruben and wife Marlene, Raymond (Chapo) and wife Sandra, Steve (Dede) and wife Dora, Josie (Shorty) Molina and companion Robin, son-in-law Tony Salas and a special grand-daughter Melissa Alcorta, 25 grandchildren , 36 great-grandchildren and 1 great-great-grandchild, brothers; George(Lilly), Paul(Irma) , Gonzalo(Anna) and Freddie(Virginia) Hernandez and Mike Salazar(Alice) and sister Emma Amaya.

She is preceded in death by her loving husband Victoriano (Vicky) Rodriguez, her daughter Anselma (Chema) Salas, brothers and sisters; Raymond, Jess, Frankie, Josie and Canda Hernandez and Cruza Lopez, sister-in-law; Teresa Hernandez and brother-in-law; Danny Lopez.
