Julia (Judy) Fisher, 97, a former resident of Lordsburg, NM passed away Tuesday May 20, 2014 in Overland, Kansas.

Funeral Mass will be held on Saturday August 2. 2014 at 10:00 am at St. Joseph Church in Lordsburg. Burial will follow at Mountain View Cemetery.

Julia was born April 7, 1918 in Scotland, Texas. Julia grew up in Deming and moved to Lordsburg and lived there for over 60 years prior to moving to Overland Park in Kansas to live with her son and his wife.

Julia is survived by her brother Bill Klement and his wife Barbara of Deming, son Edward (Sandy) M. Fisher, III and his wife Hazel, granddaughter Trisha L. Dellert and her husband Andrew, and great grandchildren Ronin, Tiffany, and Megan Dellert.

Julia is preceded in death by her grandson Christopher Fisher.
