Maria Soledad "Chole" Sandoval, 55, longtime Deming resident, passed away Tuesday, August 5, 2014 at her home.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 in the afternoon, Thursday, August 7, 2014, at Baca's Funeral Chapels and funeral services will be Friday, August 8, 2014 at 2 o'clock in the afternoon at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Interment will follow at Mountain View Cemetery.

Maria was born in Parral, Chihuahua, Mexico on March 16, 1959 to Maria Mercedes Lopez and Isidoro Ayala. On December 31, 1979 she married Inocente Sandoval in Parral and moved to Luna County where they worked together as farm laborers. Upon moving to Deming their family grew up attending Deming Schools.

She is survived by her husband, Inocente Sandoval of the home; 1 son, Roy Sandoval ; 2 daughters, Sonia and Ciclaly Sandoval of Deming; 3 sisters, Beatrice and Guadalupe Ayala of Chihuahua and Ana Maria of Parral; 5 grandchildren Flavian, Briana, Yaretzy, Camila, and Aquiles.

Preceding her in death were her parents and a brother Fernando Ayala.

Serving as pallbearers will be Inocente, Roy, Flavian, Manuel and Scott Sandoval and Scott Clay.

Our beloved mother, great human being, loving mother and grandmother. She was very strong and fought all the way. "You will be missed so much. May you be blessed and be in peace." Always in our hearts!
