My name is De Ann Bencomo, also known as Officer De. I am the write-in candidate for Grant County Commissioner District 5. I am a lifetime resident of New Mexico and have been a resident of Grant County for 28 years. I met and married my husband, Robert Bencomo, here in Grant County. Our three sons, Montana, Nevada, and Dakota, were born and raised here also.

I have been a public servant my entire professional career, listening to the needs and wants of our community and finding and implementing solutions. I care deeply about protecting the culture and heritage of Grant County while making our county an attractive location to newcomers.

My major goals are high-quality health care, exceptional community safety, and public services to include economic stability and protecting water rights, without extinguishing any entities that already exist in and sustain our county.
