Lordsburg to Silver City, New Mexico
 
Grant County: The New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) District One office with Cutler Repaving will begin their Roadway Rehabilitation Maintenance operations for a section of NM-90 between Lordsburg and Silver City, NM.

The project will consist of a mill and in-lay of asphalt from mile marker 22.5-27.0, in order to extend the longevity of the roadway. Traffic control will be placed within the work zone as speed reductions will be posted with a pilot vehicle, and flagging operations will be stationed in order to allow motorists to travel through the project safely. The NMDOT would like to encourage motorists to exercise extreme caution when traveling within any work zone.

 
The project is scheduled to start on Monday May 13, 2013 and should be complete by Friday, May 24, 2013. The contractor will be working from 8:00 a.m. until 5:30 p.m. daily including weekends.
