On Saturday, May 11, activities for adults and children could be found in Silver City and Hurley. The Farmer's Market first Saturday of the season opened to plenty of visitors, having their choice of foodstuffs to purchase. Hurley Pride filled the town's Community Park with vendors and organizations. Always popular is the car show, bringing folks from surrounding areas to show off their vehicles. Back in Silver City, Gough Park was the venue for a Kid's Circus, which started with the Monsoon Puppet Parade down Pope Street to College to Hudson and back to the park.
