The Silver City MainStreet Board of Directors is pleased to announce that Francis Bee will be the new MainStreet Manager, beginning Monday July 1. Bee brings a wealth of experience to the position having worked with economic development, tourism promotion, marketing and historic preservation. Bee commented, “My twenty-five years of business experience with local, regional and national firms will bring an opportunity for downtown merchants and residents for future success.”

Bee’s most recent experience with marketing was in Southampton, New York, first at the Parrish Art Museum and then at Southampton Inn as Marketing Director. In addition to marketing, he created and implemented plans to increase visitors and created alliances with local businesses. He graduated from Temple University with a BA in English Literature.
