It will show that through Tuesday, we should be prepared for exceptional rain, so please prepare for possible flooding, especially if you live in a low-lying area. Do not cross any flooded roads. Even a little bit of rushing water can carry away a car or person.

I will try to keep you updated with the latest warnings, but I also have meetings to attend, so let yourself be prepared!!

* AT 515 PM MDT...NATIONAL WEATHER SERVICE DOPPLER RADAR INDICATED   
THUNDERSTORMS WITH HEAVY RAINFALL OVER GILA AND RIVERSIDE. DOPPLER   
RADAR ESTIMATED 0.75 INCHES OF RAIN HAS FALLEN IN ABOUT 30 MINUTES.

* LOCATIONS IMPACTED INCLUDE...
  GILA...
  RIVERSIDE...
  CLIFF...
  GILA RIPARIAN PRESERVE...

RUNOFF FROM THIS EXCESSIVE RAINFALL WILL CAUSE MINOR FLOODING TO
OCCUR...ESPECIALLY ALONG SMALL STREAMS AND NEAR LOW WATER CROSSINGS.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

DO NOT DRIVE YOUR VEHICLE INTO AREAS WHERE THE WATER COVERS THE
ROADWAY. THE WATER DEPTH MAY BE TOO GREAT TO ALLOW YOUR CAR TO CROSS
SAFELY. TURN AROUND... DON'T DROWN.
