The Grant County Extension Service hosted motorcycle riders from all over the state who were participating in the Ride for the 4-H Clover event on Aug. 24. Nearly 100 motorcyclists and their supporters traveled throughout southern New Mexico stopping at various Extension Service offices to learn more about and support the 4-H program. The group had lunch in Grant County.

The first photo shows the first of the 45 motorcycles and 100 visitors to arrive in Silver City for the event. More than a dozen supporters included New Mexico State University President Garrey Carruthers abd NMSU Board of Regents Chairmn Mike Cheney.
