The High Desert Humane Society and Grant County Animal Control is asking for assisting in locating and large Black dog that was involved in a dog bite.  The victim, a small child had tried to pet the loose dog when it lunged and bit her on the neck and chin. This happened Saturday November 2, on Highway 15 at MM123 just past Pinos Altos. The dog owner and companion are both described as Hispanic males, one with a long ponytail. They left the scene driving a red pickup.  Anyone with information is asked to contact Animal control Officer, Buddy Howard at 575-538-96261
