Only one candidate filed for County Commissioner District 2, Commission Chairman Brett A. Kasten, Democrat. 

Three candidates are running for County Assessor, Mary Guthrie, the present assessor, Raul S. Turrieta, a previous assessor, both Democrats and Republican Lucy Whitmarsh.

Three candidates are vying for Sheriff—the present Sheriff Raul D. Villanueva, Democrat and two Republicans—Charles William Cassady and Raymond Jr. Tavison.

Democrat Velia Miranda is running for a second term as Probate Judge. 

Division 1 Magistrate Judge Marine L. Laney, Democrat, is running to retain her judgeship.

Division 2 Magistrate Judge Hector Grijalva, Democrat, is being challenged by Democrat Lonnie A. Sandoval for the judgeship.
