The Central Rockies Into Eastern New Mexico By Saturday Afternoon

This System Will Bring Stronger Winds Aloft As Well As A Deepening

Surface Low Pressure Over Eastern New Mexico. This Combination Will

Produce Sustained Winds From The West Around 20 To 25 Mph With

Gusts Of 35 Mph Or More. These Winds With Minimum Relative Humidity

In The Low To Mid Teens...And Nfdrs Fire Danger Ratings Of High Or

Greater Will Create Critical Fire Conditions Over South Central

Issued A Fire Weather Watch...Which Is In Effect From Saturday

Afternoon Through Saturday Evening. 

 

* Event: Fire Weather ...Zone 110 Southwest Mountains. Fire 

  Weather Zone 111 Southwest Deserts And Lowlands. Fire Weather 

  Zone 112 South Central Lowlands And Southern Rio Grande 

  Valley. Fire Weather Zone 113 Capitan And Sacramento 

  Mountains. Fire Weather Zone 055 El Paso...Fire Weather Zone 

  056 Hudspeth. 

 

* Timing:   1 Pm To 8 Pm Mdt Saturday.

 

* Wind:     Westerly 20-25 Mph Gusting To 35 Mph.

 

* Humidity: 10 To 17 Percent.

 

* Impacts:  Any Fires That Develop Will Likely Spread Rapidly.

            Outdoor Burning Is Not Recommended.
