...wind advisory in effect from noon to 8 pm mdt wednesday...

The national weather service in el paso tx/santa teresa has issued a wind advisory...which is in effect from noon to 8 pm mdt wednesday.

 

 

* event: southwest winds will have sustained speeds 30 to 40 mph
with gusts to 50 mph.

* timing: winds will increase around noon and attain maximum
speeds between 3 pm and 5 pm before diminishing in the evening
hours.

* impact: strong winds will create hazardous driving conditions...
Especially for high profile vehicles. Blowing dust could also
become a problem.

* visibility: may reduce to 3 to 5 miles.

A wind advisory means that winds of 30 to 39 mph are expected.
