* Event: Critical Fire Weather Conditions This Afternoon Across The Lowlands Of South Central And Southwestern New Mexico And Far West Texas Due To Warm Temperatures...A Very Dry Airmass... And Windy Conditions.

* Wind: West Winds 20 To 30 Mph At The 20-Foot Level With Occasional Gust To Near 40 Mph.

* Humidity: Minimum Relative Humidity Between 10 To 15 Percent.

* Impacts...Any On-Going Fires Or New Fires That Develop Will Likely Spread Rapidly And Be Difficult To Control. Outdoor Burning Is Not Recommended.
