Situation: Crew from the BLM have stopped the forward progress of the Prom Fire, which has burned approximately 2-3,000 acres along Interstate 10 between Lordsburg and Deming. Structures are in the area and are considered threatened, but not immediately so. Crews will work to put out hot spots and prevent re-ignition of the fire.
