Saturday was opening day for the Silver City Art and Farmers' markets. Sixteen vendors at the Farmer's Market were selling everything from plant starts to pizza, fresh lettuce and chard to huge wintered-over beets for juicing. Sunny spring weather and the chance to reconnect with friends brought out many local residents. The Art Market across the street was also open for business.
