The New Mexico Department of Transportation (NMDOT) District One office with law enforcement are out monitoring roadway conditions along I-10 from the Lordsburg to Anthony, NM due to high winds and low visibility in various areas. In addition, NM-15 near Silver City from mile marker 2-25 is currently closed due to fire. Emergency responders are responding and are encouraging motorists to avoid this area until it is clear.
