Mayor is Looking for Qualified Volunteers:

Do you have a few extra hours each month? Would you like to be involved in the community and your local government? If so, then please contact the Town of Silver City Clerk's office, because Mayor Michael Morones of the Town of Silver City is looking for qualified volunteers to serve on the following:

• • Extra Territorial Subdivision Commission
  • Planning and Zoning Commission
  • Incentive Review Committee
  • Museum Board
  • Library Board

Contact the Town Clerk at 534-6346 if you have questions or would like an application mailed or emailed. Completed applications may be dropped off at City Hall, 101 W. Broadway, faxed to 534-6377 or mailed to Town Clerk, Town of Silver City, P. O. Box 1188, Silver City, NM 88062. Applications will be accepted until filled by appointment of the Mayor.
