On Wednesday, Aug. 27, at about noon, a Southwest Concrete and Paving Company cement truck flipped on its side on U.S 180 at the intersection of State Highway 152 in Santa Clara.

Agencies responding included the Bayard Police Department, Santa Clara Police Department, Grant County Sheriff's Department, New Mexico Department of Transportation, New Mexico Department of Motor Transportation police and New Mexico State Police.

Little information was available as the investigation was still underway. However, an unofficial source told the Grant County Beat that the driver suffered only minor scrapes and bruises.
