Silver City, NM, October 27, 2014:

Grant County Clerk Robert Zamarripa would like to remind everyone that Early/Absentee will end on Saturday November 1, 2014.

Early voting hours are Monday through Saturday 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Grant County Administration Building located at 1400 Highway 180 East.

Early voting hours at the Bayard Community Center will be Tuesday through Saturday 9:00 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.

Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 4, hours will be from 7 a.m. to 7 p.m. at Voter Convenience Centers and specific precincts throughout the county. Find out where they are on www.grantcountynm.com.

To request an absentee application, call the clerk's office or log on to www.grantcountynm.com and print out the application and mail it to PO BOX 898 Silver City, NM 88061. Absentee ballots must be received by 5 p.m. on Election Day, Tuesday, Nov. 4.
