On Halloween, Oct. 31, 2014, students at Central Elementary School in Santa Clara culminated their observance of Drug Abuse Resistance Education (D.A.R.E.) Red Ribbon Week with a parade through the neighborhoods surrounding the school.
Dressed in Halloween character costumes (because "my character counts" in the fight against drugs) and sporting D.A.R.E. ribbons, each class also carried banners with their personalized messages against the use of drugs.
