Grant County final votes are in and reported

Final Results for Grant County have just been announced.

In Grant County, Incumbent Democrat Tom Udall is likely the winner with 5288 votes over Republican Allen Weh's 3843

For U.S. Representative, District 2, Republican incumbent Steve Pearce takes the county over Democrat Roxanne "Rocky" Lara 4558 to 4469.

In statewide races, incumbent Republican Gov. Susana Martinez and John A. Sanchez won over Democrat Gary K. King and Debra A Haaland 4939 to 4130.

For Secretary of State, Incumbent Dianna J. Duran lagged behind Democrat Maggie Toulouse Oliver 4343 to 4634.

In the State Auditor race, Democrat Timothy M. Keller won over Republican Robert J. Aragon 5215 to 3656.

For State Treasurer Democrat Tim Eichenberg beat Rick J. Lopez 5000 to 3819

In the Attorney General Race, Democrat Hector Balderas won with 5581 to Susan M. Riedel's 3442.

In the Commission of Public Lands, incumbent Democrat Ray Bennett Powell beat Aubrey Dunn 4851 to 4145

In the small portion of Grant County that lies in state representative district 32 Republican Tom Bill Black took the four votes to none for Democrat Dona G. Irwin.

In the state representative district 38 race, Incumbent Republican Dianne Hamilton beat Democrat challenger Terry D. Fortenberry 3176 to 3041.

In the state representative district 39 race, Grant County resident incumbent Democrat Rodolpho "Rudy" S Martinez beat Republican John L. Zimmerman 1744 to 1109.

In the Public Regulation commissioner district 5 race, incumbent Democrat Sandy R. Jones wins over Republican Ben L. Hall 5300 to 3533

In the PRC district 6 race, Democrat Gilbert G. Peralta was unopposed.

Magistrate Judge division 1 goes to the unopposed Maurine L. Laney and division 2 to the unopposed Hector C. Grijalva.

In Grant County races, Commissioner District 1 Commissioner Gabriel Ramos was uncontested, so he is the winner. In the District 2 Commissioner race, Commissioner Brett Kasten is also uncontested, so is the automatic winner.

Raul Turietta, Democrat wins the assessor position over Lucy Whitmarsh 5200 to 3627.

For Sheriff, Raul Villanueva will retain his position, winning over challenger Raymond M. Ravison Jr. 5174 to 3706.

Velia Miranda was unopposed for Probate Judge and will retain the position.

Henry R. Quintero, Jennifer Ellen Delaney, J.C. Robinson, Daniel Viramontes, Linda M. Vanzi, Jim Wechsler, and Cynthia A. Fry will retain their judicial positions.

Constitutional Amendments 1, 2, 3, 4 and 5 passed with each receiving more than 60 percent of the vote for the amendments.

Bond quesionts A, B, and C all passed with 62. 04 percent of the vote for A, 61.11 percent of the vote for B, and 59.66 percent of the vote for C.
