(Silver City, NM)—On November 11, 2014 at approximately 9:30 am, deputies with the Grant County Sheriff's Office were dispatched to the area of Claw Road Silver City, NM in reference to an aggravated burglary complaint. The victim stated that between the hours of 8:30am and 9:30am someone went into the home and stole approximately 50 firearms to include rifles and handguns. Also taken from the home was a 60 inch Phillips flat screen tv and a handheld mobile radio. The Grant County Sheriff's Office is following up on leads they have.

"This is a very dangerous situation and we really need to get these guns off the streets before they fall into the wrong hands.
