Strong West To Northwest Winds Expanding Across The Region...

.A Strong Trough Of Low Pressure Aloft Will Move Across The
Central Rockies Today While A Pacific Cold Front Will Move Into
New Mexico By Late This Afternoon.This Will Allow Winds To
Increase Throughout This Morning And Last Most Of The Afternoon.
Strong Winds Have Spread Into A Wider Portion Of The Lowlands
Than Anticipated...So The Advisory Is Being Expanded And Pushed
For Another Couple Of Hours. The Strongest Winds Will Still Be
Through Mountain Passes And Along East Slopes Of Terrain Which
Tend To Accelerate Winds.

Slopes.

* Timing...Winds Are Peaking Now And Will Diminish After Sunset.

* Visibility...No Significant Visibility Restrictions Are
Expected. Some Local Areas Downstream From Dust Sources May
See Brief Patches Of Blowing Dust.

* Local Impacts...Strong Cross Winds Are Expected On North To
South Roadways Which May Cause Hazardous Driving Conditions At
