.two Pacific Storm Systems Will Sweep Through The Borderland And
Bring Light To Moderate Snowfall Over The Mountains Across
Southwest New Mexico This Evening Through Friday Morning. Snow
Levels Will Drop To Around 6500 Ft Tonight And Again Thursday
Night. The Heavier Snow Amounts Are Expected To Be Over The High
Country Of The Gila Region With Somewhat Lesser Amounts Over The
Sacramento Mountains. Snow Expected Tonight And Again Thursday
Afternoon Through Friday Morning. Snow Amounts Of 1 To 3 Inches
Above 6500 Ft With 3 To 5 Inches Above 7500 Ft Over The Gila. The
Second Storm Will Exit The Region Friday Morning With Snow Ending
From West To East Friday Morning.

Issued A Winter Weather Advisory For Snow Accumulations...
Which Is In Effect From 6 Pm This Evening To Midnight Mst
Thursday Night.

* Snow Accumulations: Periods Of Moderate Snow Will Drop 1 To 3
Inches Of Snow Overnight. More Snow Showers Thursday Will
Bring An Additional 1 To 3 Inches Of Snow Accumulation.

* Timing: Light To Moderate Snow This Afternoon With Higher
Heavier Periods Of Snow Tonight. Snow Should End Overnight And
Start Again Thursday Afternoon Through The Late Evening Hours.

* Winds: Westerly 10 To 20 Mph This Evening...diminishing To 5 To
10 Mph Overnight And Friday.

* Snow Levels: Beginning At 7500 Ft This Evening And Dropping To
Around 6500 Ft Overnight.

* Impacts: Travel May Become Difficult Due To Snow Packed And Icy
Roadways As Well As Low Visibilities.
