The National Weather Service In El Paso Tx/santa Teresa HasIssued A Winter Storm Watch...which Is In Effect From WednesdayEvening Through Thursday Evening.

* Event: Periods Of Moderate To Heavy Snow Across The South Central And Southwest Mountains Of Southern New Mexico.

* Snow Accumulations: 2 To 4 Inches Of Snow Accumulation Over The Slopes And Peaks Of The Gila Region Above 6500 Ft. 4 To 8 Inches Of Snow Possible Over The Sacramento Mountains Above 5500 Ft.

* Timing: Snow Showers Will Develop In The Late Evening Hours Wednesday. On And Off Snow Showers Are Expected To Continue Through The Day Thursday. Snow Will End Over The Gila Region Thursday Evening...and Over The Sacramento Mountains By Friday Morning.

* Winds: North To Northeasterly From 10 To 20 Mph Wednesday. Increasing From The Northeast To 20 To 30 Mph With Higher Gusts Thursday Afternoon And Evening.
