A letter-to-the-editor from Peter Burrows questioned some of the numbers listed in a recent article about Silver City. Here are a few answers to his questions that can be found at American Fact Finder - U.S. Census Bureau.

Silver City Median Age: 39.1 This is a five-year estimate from 2009-2013. The 2010 census states the median age was 39.8.

Grant County Median Age: 46.1 This is a five-year estimate from 2009-2013. The 2010 census states the median age was 45.9.

Median Home Value in Silver City: $131,900 This is a five-year estimate from 2009-2013.

Median Home Value in Grant County: $125,300 This is a five-year estimate from 2009-2013.
