Today at the State Capital Kelsey Garner New Mexico State FFA, Future Farmer's of America, President from Cliff NM visited her District State Senator Howie Morales. Garner is a sophomore at NMSU and is studying to become a speech language pathologist. Garner has a background in agriculture from her upbringing in Cliff, NM.

Garner stated: "It is important to know where your food comes from and to know where you get the food you put on your table."

Senator Morales greeted FFA President Kelsey Garner, a native from his district, today at the State Legislature. Morales said, "It's inspiring to see future agricultural leaders involved and speaking out on behalf of their interests and our state's interests here at the Legislature."
