On Thursday, April 9, the WNMU Intramural Gym became a teaching location for the Grant County DWI Prevention Program, which hosted a "Day in the Life of a DWI Offender." The program provided students with the chance to experience the various steps in the DWI process, from using an impaired driving simulator to being sentenced by an actual (retired) judge. Students also wore goggles which simulated levels of intoxication and attempted to pass a sobriety test that was given by actual Grant County officers.
