The Silver City Police Department is investigating a collision between a bicycle and a motor vehicle that occurred Saturday, May 9, at about 2:30 p.m. on Pinos Altos road just north of 32nd Street.

According to a reliable source, the bicyclist, Dr. Brian Robinson of Silver City, was flown out to an El Paso hospital.  

According to Chief Ed Reynolds, the crash is still under investigation, and additional information will be available later.
