At today's Gila Regional Medical Center's Board of Trustees meeting, the members made a proclamation and presented Barbara Guber a certificate of appreciation, which read:

"In recognition of over 39 years of incredible service and dedication. Barbara Guber has held thirteen vital positions at GRMC, many of which were leadership roles, including COO, CIO, and several Director level positions.

Through devotion and unflinching work ethic, we can say with great confidence that Barbara Guber has made a significant difference in patient care at Gila Regional Medical Center.

Thank you for your many years of service."

"I wish everybody well, and I miss everyone," Guber told the board and administrative team members.

GRMC Marketing Director Holley Hudgins said that Guber, even thought she has retired from working at the hospital, would still be showing up at Gila Regional, as she has accepted a position on the Community Collaborative council.
