Tony Trujillo, Chairman of the Board of the Silver City Grant County Chamber of Commerce stated, "This event showcases the patriotism of our communities and our county. There were so many people wearing or carrying red, white and blue. Hudson Street looked like a river of flags. It was incredible and the Chamber of Commerce is thankful for all the people who participated in the parade and the activities at Gough Park."

President of the local Chamber of Commerce, Scott Terry, reported "when we tabulated the last-minute entries and drop-outs from the parade, we still had over sixty individual groups in the parade with over eighty cars, trucks, horses, bikes, walking groups participating. It was a great parade!"

Besides the parade on Hudson Street, the local Chamber of Commerce also hosted the activities in Gough Park and helped facilitate the Fireworks Show. There were over fifty-seven booths in Gough Park throughout the day. Chamber Chairman Tony Trujillo remarked that "the crowd in the park was fantastic. Everyone seemed to enjoy the beautiful day, the great food and the good music. We had two local singers perform the national anthem, once when we raised the flag in the park that morning and once again at noon after the parade. Those were probably my favorite moments of the day."
