Several venues will change where one votes in Grant County during next year's primary and general election seasons. Some things will remain the same.

Although included in next year's elections will be the choosing of three new commissioners, two of whom will be new positions, as the commission chose to expand to five commissioners. Commissioners Brett Kasten and Gabriel Ramos will retain their positions until the 2018 election and their replacements, as they will have reached term limits, will go into office Jan. 1, 2019.

Every Grant County registered voter will continue to be able to vote early during the 30 days prior to the primary and the general election at the Grant County Clerk's Office, as in years past. The Bayard Community Center will also be open for early voting.

Absentee ballots may be requested from the Clerk's Office by mail or picked up at the Clerk's Office.

The Voter Convenience Centers for voting day will not include the Grant County Veterans' Memorial Business and Conference Center for 2016, because it will be undergoing renovation.
