The Beat expresses its great appreciation to the anonymous photographer who supplied the following photos-the same one who takes the NM-90 Bridge photos.

The convoy came through Lordsburg around 10 a.m. briefly stopped in front of the reviewing stand where they were presented with the key to the city. Marsha Hill, director of the Lordsburg Chamber of Commerce, seemed to be in charge of things. The Lordsburg Fire Department had a ladder truck with a big flag on it.

Some of these pictures were taken as they rolled into Lordsburg. After that, they headed for Rodeo, NM, where a lunch was planned for them and several speeches were made. At this point, the photographer said he had a good opportunity to photograph the only half-track vehicle in the convoy. They had it on a trailer earlier but put it on the road to drive into Rodeo.
