A sellout crowd packed WNMU's Light Hall Saturday night to attend the 2015 Wild & Scenic Film Festival. Allyson Siwik, Executive Director of the Gila Conservation Coalition, said, GǣThe building's capacity is 180 people and we only have a couple of empty seats.Gǥ

Emcee Ron Goldfarb of MySouthwestAdventure.com said that he was torn between coming to the festival or skiing on the fresh snow up north. GǣI asked them if we could put snow in the aisle,Gǥ he quipped, GǣBut they said it was against the building code.Gǥ He skiied down the aisle to start off the festival.

The festival featured 11 short films, some by local filmmakers, door prizes and a raffle of a Tom Holt Gila River painting.
